TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- Keagan McGrath scored 19 points, and the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team shot 8-for-11 from the foul line in the fourth quarter of a 55-49 win over Pioneer Valley Tech on Monday in the first round of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

 

The 10th-seeded Hurricanes (12-9) advanced to set up a quarter-final date and a third game this winter against No. 2 Drury (17-3) on Thursday night in Bucky Bullett Gymnasium for a berth in the sectional semi-finals.  Read the full article here.
