Izaha Stubbs lit up Wahconah's gym to the tune of 32 points on six 3-pointers while guiding the Hurricanes to a Berkshire North win. Hoosac Valley's defense held Wahconah in check for much of the night, but had to cling to victory late when the Warriors opened it up in the fourth quarter. Led by 20 points from Tom O'Connor, Wahconah scored 23 in the fourth quarter while staging a comeback, but it was ultimately too late.
"We had good looks and felt like we were in in at halftime, but didn't get our offense going until the fourth quarter," said Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher. "Stubbs had a great night, we didn't do what we needed to do defensively and he went off."
