The Wahconah Warriors (13-3, 5-1 Berkshire North) held the Hurricanes (5-11, 0-4) to just five, fourth quarter points to escape Cheshire with a win.
Kevin Huban finished with a game-high 21 points to help Wahconah to it's fourth-straight win.
"Huban is a complete guard who finishes with both hands in transition," Hoosac Valley coach David Harte wrote in an email. " I thought their role players were effective getting second chances and keeping possessions alive. Both teams competed on every possession. The bottom line is we get one shot and we have to fight like crazy to keep them from second and third chances."
Casey Meczywor drained four, 3-point shots and Izaha Stubbs added two more from beyond the arc. The duo combined for 30 points to lead the Hurricanes.
"I'm extremely proud of our collective effort tonight," Harte wrote. "Guys shared the ball, competed on the glass and stayed together."
