'Canes Lose One to Taconic on the Road

PITTSFIELD — For the third time in four years, Taconic has claimed the Northern Division championship.

The Braves erupted for 23 points in the second quarter to break open a close game against Hoosac Valley and went on to beat the Hurricanes 76-51 on Monday night.

 

Isaac Percy had 15 of his team-high 23 points in the first half, while Mohammed Sanogo had 16 of his 20 points in the opening half for Taconic (16-4, 7-1 Berkshire North).

 

Hoosac (10-9, 2-5) was paced by Izaha Stubbs, who had a game-high 30 points. He was the only Hurricane to score in double figures.
