No. 1 Hoosac Valley defeated No. 8 Ware 58-30 in the quarterfinal round of the Western Mass. Class D girls basketball tournament.

Taylor Garabedian led the Hurricanes in points with 16 on eight 2-pointers. Abby Sciablabba had the second-most with 11 points.

Hoosac Valley will take on Pioneer Valley in the semifinals.
